Kristin has been training a long time.

In 2005, she ran the Portland Marathon, where she messed up her knee and swore off marathons.

In 2006 and 2007 she dipped her toes in triathlon and did two sprints; sadly that knee kept her from doing more, so she swore off triathlon.

From 2007 to present she has been a bike racer: road, cyclocross, and mostly endurance cross country mountain racing for the last 5 or so years.

But this year, she’s returning to her roots: she’s blogging again (those first few years of bike racing included a daily blog), and she’s training for triathlon with the help of friend, coach, masseuse and mentor, DJ. This time though, she’s going bigger: 70.3.

When she’s not training or eating, sleeping, or foam rolling, she’s walking her dogs, developing websites, going bikepacking, or otherwise filling every available second of time with something.
